The Annual LEVATUS Thanksgiving Celebration took on new sparkle this year as we partnered with ARTLIFTING, a wonderful Boston based organization that champions artists impacted by homelessness and disabilities. By showcasing and selling artwork through ARTLIFTING artists gain opportunity, validation and empowerment. This permeates all facets of their lives.
The evening featured a special virtual drawing workshop led by Scott Brenner. Scott shared his story of going from homelessness to housing through the sale of his artwork at ARTLIFTING and led an amazing virtual pen and ink workshop, teaching artistic techniques and inspiring all. Clients, friends and family from near and far got to create their very own geometric masterpieces, taking the theme for the night - building a foundation of hope and gratitude - and bringing it to life through their artwork.
